Dr. Davis introduces Corey Sheppard, DDS and Roanoke Pediatric Dentistry

In order to maintain the highest quality of care I have chosen Dr. Sheppard for his accomplishments in the field of pediatric dentistry as a Board Certified Pediatric Dental Specialist and most important, his care for children. Dr. Sheppard is a Board Certified Specialist as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Clinical Preceptor at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, a member of the staff at Lewis-Gale Hospital in Salem and Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke. Dr. Sheppard holds his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of Detroit Mercy. He completed residencies at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, General Practice Residency (GPR), as a Naval Officer, and Medical University of South Carolina for Pediatric Dental Residency. Dr. Sheppard has been in Roanoke for over 5 years in private practice and teaching at VTCSM.

Many of you already know Dr. Sheppard from the Roanoke area not only as a pediatric dentist but also from coaching many youth sports and his involvement with the local community youth development and leadership activities. Dr. Sheppard brings a passion for pediatric dentistry and a desire to continue providing the excellent care that our kids deserve. I am eternally grateful for the privilege you have entrusted in me as your children’s dentist. I value our friendship more than you know. It is now time to pass the torch (or toothbrush in this case) to my new successor Dr. Corey Sheppard.

John J. Davis, D.D.S.
